This 18th National Youth Congress, we bring you “DESCEND TO ASCEND: Moving towards Genuine Development for an Empowered Nation”.
As we highlight the importance of economics in defining, measuring, and attaining development for our nation, we must descend to the different sectors of society to create a more inclusive and people-centered approach in developing and ascending as a nation.
This year, we seek to explore the definitions of development and the role that economics plays in attaining a better life for all. Through delving into the field of Development Economics, we will initiate discourse on the different ways it has shaped our society and how we can use it for our betterment. The people are the heart of the economy; our goals must be directed towards developing their welfare. It is the role of the youth to utilize development practices and aid in the improvement of the nation's quality of life. Ultimately, NYC's objective is to better equip them in becoming conscientious and informed catalysts for change.
The 18th National Youth Congress will be held on November 20-21, 2020 (Saturday - Sunday) online, primarily via Zoom.
